Neglected

Poor blog! We have not written on you in soo long.

I blame Gabby! Jk! Anyways I write on my own blog now, so without Gab writing it seems silly to write on this one too. However, I have faith that one day Gabby will remember this blog exists and finally update. Speaking of talking with Gabby, Gabby and I finally did the whole Skype web cam phone call thing, and it was so much fun! My whole family got into it. They even tried to get Bella to look at the screen ( although that didn't go so well). We orginally decided to do it because we knew it would be harder to talk once I went to Paris, but it's so fun to do right now (even though I am not that far away right now, just Utah like normal). Sometimes I have to laugh at how fascinated we get with technology.

Hiro!

I just can't get into American Idol this year. I'm waiting for Top Model to come back to get my reality TV fix.

Speaking of TV, Heroes came back on this week. I was super excited, but not overly impressed. At first it seemed like a bunch of the same old same old. Claire is angsty, Peter is angsty, the Petrellis are involved in a conspiracy, Hiro is adorable (not that I mind that one), Mohinder is driving a cab, and people who should be dead are alive. However they did make some much appreciated changes. No Pinehearst, and so far no Papa Petrelli. Although I think I missed the last episode before break so I was a little confused at the beginning. Anyways I thought it was good start, but I just haven't been dazzled yet. However I do realize this is the first episode after hiatus and plot situations are being set up, so I'll be patient. Although if they do decide to do another bring a person back from the dead scenario, I would like to cast my vote now: Elle..or maybe Eden.

On a side note I just finished my first project for sewing class! Pajama Pants. I did mess up a bunch of times ( as in I had to patch a couple holes), but they are done, and they look like pants. So overall I'd say they are a success.

t-t-t-tired.

American idol is amazing.
but i hate the new judge.
on a different note, I have quite a bit going on in my life right now, not all of which i can talk about here.
but it'll come.
I am probably the opposite of mimi, I'm starting to get tired of dance.
well, not dance really. just practice.
and so it goes. I'm feeling kinda emo right now.
for other reasons i'll talk about later.
but lets hope things are looking up.
on the bright side I got a new job at Pappasitos, as a hostess.
I am pretty happy 'bout that.
yay for chips and salsa!

Paula!

I can never get in to American Idol until later on in the show. There are too many people at the beginning and during Hollywood week. I do like the auditions though. I hate it when they mislead me though. Last season they built up this whole inspirational/sob story only to have the girl end up singing perfectly horribly. Honestly if you are going to make me feel that bad for them, they should at least be good. Blarg. And I'm not really sure how I feel about the new judge. I mean she seems like another Paula only not as crazy and with less flashy outfits. And let's be real,if that's what American Idol is trying to do it's impossible. No one can truly replace Paula. I love Paula. We can't rely on awkward Ryan Seacrest/ Simon vibes for our entertainment! However, in fairness I have only watched 2 episodes this season so I probably shouldn't pass judgment. For all I know in those episodes I missed Kara could have come out in a bejeweled hot pink pleather mini skirt, stood on the judging table to shout out her ill formed opinions on music, and then tried to awkwardly fight with Simon. Or she could be genuinely talented and interesting... but I'm really rooting for that bejeweled mini skirt. I should check my tivo.

I have a lot to do in school too. Although I am totally into my modern dance class right now and am therefore ignoring my other homework right now. It's so fun. We did this great choreography today. We started off with this across the floor routine, nothing too special. It was mostly working on levels in a straight line with some different walks, and arm movements. But then we got into groups of four and each came in after four counts and it all fit together in this weird little puzzle. All the movements were interlocking and created this awesome combination where we all moved in and out of each other in perfect harmony. You walk out, curve around the other dancers, then you go into releve and another girl comes from behind you and does this sweeping motion with arms around you, and then you walk backwards and turn and the whole thing starts over. Apparently it was all based on this routine by Alwin Nikolais ( I think that was the name!). Anyways, it kind of dull to talk about, but really fun to actually dance it.

school bells ringing.

Okay, so for the record, I don't watch Chuck. But I do watch American Idol.
And despite it's easy ploys at stupid humor, I love it.
Even the bad people, which are often times the best.
Alas, now that exams are over, school is back in full force and my TV time is limited.
I'm very mad at my school because they switched me out of one of my favorite classes.
but I am getting over it, and learning to deal.
however, I am sick of school and ready to be done with it already.
and although I love to dance, I am tired and do not relish staying until 4.30 every day.
especially when we're not getting things done.
oooh, guess what? I'm applying for jobs this week. mostly cuz I hate mine.
here are the hopefuls: Pappasitos, Pappas Grill, and Pappaduex.
I know, i know, all the same chain. but good restaurants none the less.
plus hopefully when I'm eighteen I can become a waitress. more money haha.
oh crud, make up work (i didn't go to school one full day last week, due to being sick) is calling.
stupid homework.

Inaguaration, Idaho, and Infinite amounts of Chuck

Mimi
So this week has been interesting. I finally bought tickets to visit my friends in Idaho. It's something I've been meaning to do for awhile. I'm super excited although I have no idea what you do in Rexburg, Idaho. I can't wait to see all my favorite Idaho girls :) Other than that my week has been pretty normal. I had a class Tuesday so I didn't get to watch the inauguration ceremony ( I planned on looking it up, but I haven't gotten a chance yet.. I know I'm a bad citizen lol). I was amused by all the hype that surrounded it though. There was a bunch of interesting and crazy articles, quotes, etc. I think the most amusing one was this picture: http://i40.tinypic.com/11tqy52.jpg. But all the hype aside I was excited to see Obama officially become president.I also watched an unhealthy amount of television this week due to Chuck. Chuck for those of you who are not familiar, is this adorable little show about a computer nerd turned accidental super spy. Me and the roommates are absolutely addicted. I seriously recommend it. Anyways have a good weekend!

updated.

Gabby B.

Okay, so I haven't updated in ages, but in my defense, it has been finals week.
I'm not sure how I did, but I decided that this year I'm not going to stress.
So I'm enjoying my three day weekend.
played cops and robbers, then to canes and lizzie's to hang out w/school friends.
then GEMMS minus one had a sleepover at Megan's.
yay for pizza!
I registered for EFY (madie and i want to go to Provo) and now I just have to wait.
It's a bit annoying, actually.
Too bad they can't just let you know right away.
and so I wait.
oh and I think I changed my mind on what I want to be again.
An actuary. With some sort of Math major. but who knows?
I'll probably change my mind tomorrow haha.
and so I go. <3
